The Very Starry Night

just a tribute to Vincent. I've got one art history book that says we wouldn't be able to pronounce his last name in the correct dialect. I thought about him a lot while doing this magazine mozaic and of Don McClean's song about him. This painting has been overly done by others but I still wanted to try. It's on 8 1/2 X 11 inch paper. It took awhile but was fun! Anyway, this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you. (made with small bits of paper from magazines)

This is a mozaic done with small colors cut out of magazines. It took me quite awhile but I enjoyed it. Sort of like doing a jigsaw puzzle, but I got to make the pieces.
